Ways to Achieve Progressive Overload
Prpgressive overload is the ability to do more over time by changing variables such as volume, load or range of motion, to make continous progress.
Load -
lifting more weight over time or lifting the same weight after decreasing bodyweight
Volume -
Increasing number of sets and reps
Increasing frequency of training
Less rest time
Range of motion -
Achieving more movement potential of a joint eg. depth in a specific movement pattern such as the squat.
