Never having been to a personal trainer before, I was apprehensive before my first session with Emily, but there was no need, as she made me feel totally comfortable from the start.

Our sessions are challenging and varied each week and although Emily pushes me hard, it’s still a lot of fun and the time goes really quickly. I am really starting to see the results and would highly recommend Emily - she plans each session according to your goals and is so encouraging throughout! Thank you Emily


I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with Emily and look forward to them every week. She's extremely encouraging and you can tell she's genuinely invested in your training. She pushes you and helps you to set and achieve your goals. You come away from sessions with Emily feeling stronger and empowered for the next one. Just over halfway through my online programme which Emily designed for me to do at home and really enjoying it. Love the structure, really challenging and seeing some measurable improvements in strength already. Also Emily is always at the end of messenger when I need her. Highly recommend Emily as a personal trainer and for group sessions. I first started going to her Box Fit class in town and it was the first class I ever enjoyed! Unfortunately with this virus it had to be stopped so I've started going to a personal session once a week with Emily, she is encouraging and supportive during the workout, she gets to know what you can do and will make sure you are not slacking! Emily makes a tailored plan for the workout, is happy to demonstrate if needed and always makes sure you use the correct technique


Emily is a lovely girl who is dedicated and loves what she does. Last year she helped me complete the physical part of my Duke of Edinburgh award.


She was extremely motivational. She didn't mind helping me with the tiniest of problems I had even if it was just that I couldn't make the seat on the bike lower!! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a helping hand in the gym.

5 Stars and worth everyone of them! Emily started as my personal trainer around 3 months ago, in this short time she has already sorted out a shoulder injury that i had from the past, she has drawn up some very good workout sessions and made sure that i was getting the form just right.

She is very passionate about personal training and helping you to achieve what you are aiming for, coupled with her knowledge of nutrition etc it's only yourself that will stop you from getting to where you want to be! Simply put, she knows her stuff, don't take my word for it, book up and see for yourself!

I have been trained by Embody Training since October 2017 and have loved every session. I am currently 4 months pregnant and will be continuing to train with Emily throughout my pregnancy and post pregnancy. It is great knowing I will never injure myself or take on any exercises I shouldn't be doing with a qualified and experienced Pre and Post Natal trainer.

What can I say about Emily, well she is amazing. She will push you every time you see her. She is such a friendly and welcoming woman. I went to her after recommendations as was needing help to get through my work fitness test which I had been struggling with due to knee issues. Emily worked with me to strengthen my knees and legs to help get me through the test. I have not regretted for one second choosing to seek Emilys help. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help and or just wants to get fitter.

 I have had 7 weekly personal training sessions with Emily and have seen and felt the most positive changes with her. With Emily’s help, I feel so much more motivated, focused and, dare I say it, enjoyment from the whole exercise experience. I used to hate the thought of going to the gym or working out in general but now I get a real sense of achievement, improved well-being and feel more confident in my own skin too.

Emily has a real gift for teaching and adjusting technique perfectly if needed, without having to tell you over and over; seems such a simple thing but before I trained with Emily I struggled with this, now I feel able to go it alone confidently on the days I train solo without injuring myself!

Emily celebrates each success with me, it makes that extra effort all the more rewarding when someone is there to record your progress, I feel as though Emily wants me to succeed in my goals as much as I do which is so motivating.

After just 7 weeks, I feel like I’m getting closer to where I want to be and it really is thanks to Emily’s professional, dedicated input at the gym and her boot camp as well as her behind the scenes preparation for the next session which is tailored to my requirements.

Emily has been an essential part of my fitness journey, needless to say I can’t recommend her enough!
