ABOUT

Embody Training offers personal training, group sessions and classes in the South East with a Commonwealth Gold Medal winning athlete.

Training is provided by a qualified REP's gym and fitness instructor and advanced level personal trainer.  Services offered include  health and fitness appraisals, fitness testing and individually tailored programmes, nutritional advice and stage by stage targets enabling you to achieve your final goal.

Embody Training can also offer specialist programmes such as postural correction, sport specific, muscular endurance, hypertrophy, power and strength training, HIIT, aerobic fitness and for older members of the population.

Initially a Kent League runner, Emily is always keen to expand her knowledge and experience and has most recently entered the powerlifting world and has quickly broken South East records.   Following selection for the  English Team competing in the Commonwealth Championship, she returned with three gold medals and overall gold in her category making her the subject of a BBC news report.

Emily is keen to encourage and motivate others in achieving their goals and draws on her running background for those preferring cardio training, her dance and choreography training in her classes and her competitive powerlifting experience for those interested in strength and conditioning.  Her qualifications and experience in such diverse fields enable her to provide a tailor made service for every client.

1:1 PERSONAL TRAINING
TRAIN IN A PAIR

Some people may prefer to train in a pair with a friend, family member or partner. This is why we offer partner or small group sessions.

PRE AND POST NATAL 

Keeping fit during and post pregnancy is extremely important. 1:1 sessions with Pre and Post Natal qualified Instructor. 

Book 10 x 1:1 sessions payable in advance at a discounted price. It may also be possible to split this in to 5 sessions if discussed with your coach. Know a friend who might like sessions? Order them a 10 session gift voucher!

10 SESSION PACKAGE

POSTURAL ASSESSMENT            AND CORRECTION

This will include a full body Postural Assessment designed to look for any muscular imbalances and areas that need improving, relieving your every day aches and pains as well as improving performance in sport.

A programme will be designed to improve posture and fix any muscular imbalances. 

Sessions designed to help you look your best for your special day or special occasion. Programmes designed to help you achieve your goals, whether you want to lose weight for that special dress, or put muscle on for a holiday. Calorie target, macronutrient breakdown, recipe e-book and daily WhatsApp support included in this package. You'll also have an app for your phone for tracking nutrition and a training programme to follow each day.

 

WEDDING AND SPECIAL OCCASION PACKAGES

INITIAL CONSULTATION AND FITNESS TESTING

Consultation includes blood pressure check, body composition tests (callipers/circumference 

measurement), food diary and advanced fitness testing methods ready to track your progress. We will set specific goals and create a personalised programme to enable you to achieve them.

ONLINE PROGRAMMING

4 week programme specifically designed to suit your goals. Programmes can be gym or home based and will be progressive and adjusted to your ability and time available. Calorie target, macronutrient breakdown, recipe e-book and daily WhatsApp support included in this package. You'll also have a downloadable app for tracking nutrition and a training programme to follow each day.

TRANSFORMATION PACKAGE

Sessions are designed for clients ready to transform their bodies - whether this is to add muscle mass, or lose weight. If you have tried all sorts of fad diets and various training methods and not yet managed to transform for good, these sessions are for you. Calorie target, macronutrient breakdown, recipe e-book and daily WhatsApp support included in this package. You'll also have an app to track nutrition and a tailored training programme to follow each day.

As well as having our very own private studio, we offer home sessions. Choose to train from the comfort of your own home or garden and we will bring our equipment to you. Sessions can be 1-2-1, with your partner or friend, or even family training.

Sports Specific Services

Golf requires a lot of rotational movement. Sessions will involve building and conditioning the muscles involves in your swing as well as working on the core, specifically the obliques.

Boxing is a combat sport which requires balance, coordination, agility and core strength. Sessions will consist of exercises to build and strengthen all of these aspects including core circuits, cardiovascular and strength training. Pad work trained.

Embody Training has experience in Musical Theatre, having performed on West End stages and trained for a Diploma in Musical Theatre. Sessions will be designed to help with the demands of being a dancer. You can also work on flexibility, weight training to support joints and cardiovascular fitness for your performances.

DANCERS
CONDITIONING

As a Triple Gold Commonwealth Medalist, Embody Training is able to draw on competitive powerlifting experience. Embody Training love to introduce beginners into the powerlifting world and teach the rules, commands and most importantly the techniques required to compete in Powerlifting.

With experience in Dressage, Embody Training loves to meet new riders and knows what it takes to condition the body to ride.

Sessions can be designed for both sprinters and long distance runners, as well as beginners who are aiming to run a marathon or take part in an event such as Mud Monsters or Race for Life.

Your trainer will be qualified in 'Sports specific training' - these sessions are designed specifically for athletic performance enhancement. Choose to have any of the services below as a 1:1 session or in a pair or small group.


Above all, a footballer must have a high level of cardiovascular fitness. Embody Training will use both HIIT training and endurance work to ensure you are in prime condition for football/


Rugby requires all planes of movement. This means, unlike some sports, a rugby player is required to move in almost every direction! Sessions include both weight training and cardiovascular exercise.
